New Jersey could get some part-time neighbors back full-time.
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are expanding their “cottage” by Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. The plan includes four new volleyball courts, a relocated heliport and a spa and yoga complex, the New York Times reported.
Renovations are underway as Manhattan awaits the couple’s decision to return there with their three children when they leave Washington. There was speculation uncontrollable that a power couple would do not welcome back New York High Society after their defense of Ivanka’s father, President Donald Trump, for the past four years.
Sam Nunberg, a former adviser to Trump’s campaign, told the Times that although the couple did not offer advice, “I’m moving to Florida next year for taxes and lifestyle.” The supplier KushnerJared’s former and possibly future real estate company is based in New York and has large stakes in New Jersey.
Trump and Kushner previously updated the cottage in 2016 and added a basement and a living room with a fireplace. They are now expanding the master bedroom, bathroom and dressing room and adding two new bedrooms, a study and a veranda on the ground floor.
The plans also require the addition of five more 5,000-square-foot cabins, a spa resort and a “general store.”
