Matt Damon and his wife introduced theirs Pacific Palisades the castle for $ 21 million because the couple intends to move their family to New York, where they bought a shelter two years ago.

The actor and wife of Oscar-winning Luciana Barroso are expected to list their 13,500-square-foot home, according to the Wall Street Journal.

In 2012, they paid $ 15 million for a modernist 7-bedroom house and did not renovate it beyond some cosmetic work, Eric Haskell of The Journal told the agency.

The house has a central atrium with a 35-foot-high vaulted ceiling, an open-plan living and dining area and facilities including a gym, home cinema and wine cellar.

The pool area is a resort with a large outdoor pavilion, waterfall and spa. The garden also has a koi pond and a children’s playground.

Damon – who shared the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for “Goodwill Hunting” – and Barroso paid $ 16.8 million at the 6,200-square-foot Brooklyn Heights penthouse at the end of 2018. It was the most demanding residential deal in the neighborhood.

“They really love it there, even with everything that’s going on with Covid,” Haskell told the newspaper, referring to New York.

In September, the 11,900-square-foot Pacific Palisades house was owned by the family of the late singer Johnny Hallday— ”French Elvis Presley”- stated at $ 18 million. [WSJ] – Dennis Lynch
