Pierce Brosnan hopes to do a more breathtaking performance than anything else when he played James Bond: Sell a 12,500 square foot house for $ 100 million or $ 8,000 per square foot.

House at 3116 Broad Beach Road in the town Malibu hit the market at $ 100 million. Chris Cortazzo, a Compass specialist in Malibu, is on the list.

The 5-bedroom house with 14 bathrooms includes ocean views, a saltwater pool, a cinema, a gym and a wine cellar. Sitting on an acre of land. Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye bought the property for $ 5.1 million in 2000 and developed the house, according to the Wall Street Journal, which was the first announced the registration.

Most of the Los Angeles headquarters sold $ 100 million or nearly the last two years — and there have been several — they have included much greater properties. Two examples: Petra Ecclestone sold her 56,000-square-foot Spelling Manor in Beverly Hills for $ 120 millionwhile Lachlan Murdoch paid $ 150 million for the 10-acre Chartwell Farmhouse in Bel Air, which is headquartered in 25,000 square feet.

But for Brosnan, hope is close to home. Former NBC Universal executive Ron Meyer sold his 14,500-square-foot house to Malibu $ 100 million in August 2019.

Cortazzo is also the most fertile luxury sales representative in Malibu, although its real estate listings are usually much lower than some of its ultraluxus competitors.

Reports left on Monday by Cortazz and other Compass representatives were not returned immediately.
